Mr. Charles Omary Biladi is an accomplished economist and development strategist with over two decades of experience in industrial policy, project finance, and sustainable economic development. He currently serves as Director of Studies at the Industry Promotion Fund (FPI) in the Democratic Republic of Congo, where he leads research, analysis, and strategic planning to advance national industrialization and inclusive growth. Previously, Mr. Biladi served as Technical Director at the FPI (2008–2017), coordinating project evaluations and investment strategies to strengthen small and medium industries. His professional expertise spans public–private partnerships (PPPs), risk management, and value chain development, with specialized training from the University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne, Financial Modeling Institute (South Africa), and transformational leadership programs in Nairobi. He holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the National University of Benin and a Postgraduate degree in Public Decision-Making and Development Management from the University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne. Mr. Biladi is passionate about empowering African enterprises, youth innovation, and agricultural value chains as drivers of economic resilience. His extensive publications and thought leadership emphasize sustainable industrialization, SME financing, and Africa’s role in global economic transformation.
